Stall owners and rickshaw drivers use the same tactics – ignore proposals until the right price is met. Tourism is rife in Marrakesh’s central market square. The visage of berbers is like a film over the square.In the old souk, tourist shops mingle with local sellers, like this man selling fruit to citizens living in the bazaar.Sometimes stationary stalls don’t cut it; the only way is mobile selling for some.Being mobile comes in many forms. While bicycles swarm the city streets, donkeys dominate the alleys of the old souk as reliable transportation that know the streets better than their owners.The souk, split into trade quarters from fabric stalls to carpentry workshops. Motors and hammers provide a soundtrack for diligent work.Clanging hammers and roaring furnaces are make a chorus of productivity.
